Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital selects AOM Air Purifiers for their wards’ Haze Management Zones
Air & Odor Management (AOM) is proud to be the preferred air filtration partner of the re-developed Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital (KWSH). This re-development move is part of Singapore’s plan to raise the capacity of her nursing homes as the country copes with an ageing population.
Having previously worked with KWSH during the 2015 haze bout in Singapore, we are once again honoured to be trusted with the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) of the expanded 622-bed, 12-storey nursing home.
On top of providing a one-stop suite of services for the elderly, each KWSH ward now comes with a “Haze Management Zone“ – an enclosed area equipped with a ventilation and air filtration system for the comfort of patients who may experience respiratory problems during haze periods.
AOM’s air purifiers are being used in many more hospitals in Singapore as well. During the 2013 haze, we were trusted to supply our range of air purifiers to Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), Singapore General Hospital (SGH), Changi General Hospital (CGH), and National University Hospital (NUH) to help improve IAQ in their premises.
Our involvement in these projects is a testament to the quality of our air filtration solutions.
We look forward to helping more members of the community improve their IAQ. Let us care for the air you breathe!
