AOM Philippines wins Environmental Excellence Award at The Global Business Leadership Awards 2019
The Global Business Leadership Awards 2019 took place at the Putrajaya Marriott Hotel in Malaysia and was graced by His Royal Highness Tengku Hishamuddin Zaizi, Royal Patron of the GBLA.
The award was organized by The Leaders International, a business magazine and co-organized by American Leadership Development Association (ALDA), a US-based NGO.
The nominations were judged by a panel of renowned professionals from all parts of the world and the awardees were selected in various categories based on their leadership qualities and contributions to their fields in the last three years.
The Global Business Leadership Awards seeks to recognize global leaders’ efforts who played a pivotal role in nation building and nurturing the global economy.
The event was attended by hundreds of prominent personalities from all walks of life across the globe.
During the award ceremony, Air & Odor Management Philippines was distinguished with the award for Environmental Excellence.
The award was accepted by Air & Odor Management Philippines CEO, Mr. Jeroen Van Straten.

Additionally, the Global Business Leadership Awards recognized Air & Odor Management and the other winners as the benchmarks and exemplar of sustainable business practices to other organizations in accordance with the Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs).
The awards event was in conjunction with the 11th Asia Pacific CSR Council Forum, themed “Advocating Sustainability as the New Normal for Business Growth”, which was aimed to encourage the idea of Corporate Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility as a comprehensive path for business development on a global scale.
This is hoped to increase awareness of sustainable development within the business community and society.
