AOM Ducted UVC Emitter is a great fit for new and retrofits ventilation systems to improve indoor air quality and alleviate environmental health impacts. Installed from the exterior surface of ductworks, it allows for quick and easy installation. In addition, the unit is recognized internationally with CE and RoHS certifications to attest for its quality and safety.
Ultraviolet-C (UVC) irradiation has proven germicidal capabilities against bacteria, viruses, and other airborne pathogens. Its short wavelength allows it to destroy these contaminants in the HVAC systems.
In addition, at even shorter wavelengths, the ozone produced can also be used in kitchen exhaust systems to complement existing air cleaning equipment (i.e. Electrostatic Precipitator) to treat oil and grease particles and mitigate cooking odor.
